Who we are

Two people. You'll deal with both of us.

No account manager, no offshore ticket queue. The people who scope the work are the people who do it.

Sam Security & networks

I'm Sam. I grew up between the Dominican Republic and Queens. I spent three-plus years running the network for Claro Dominicana — the phone and internet company most Dominicans use. If you called your grandmother in Santo Domingo, the call went through gear I was on the hook for.

I have a Master's in cybersecurity from Touro and an engineering degree before that. Now I break into things on purpose so I can tell you where yours is soft.

I built my own site — samuelmendieta.com — and locked it down myself. Run your own tools against it. I'll do the same for yours.

Se habla español todos los días.

Victor Brand, photo & video

I'm Victor. I shoot film and photography for a living. My work is at victorsart.com.

I'm the one who shows up at your shop with a camera, takes the pictures, gets the video, and figures out how the site should feel to somebody who has never been inside. Before we build anything, we sit down. So the site sounds like your business, not like ours.

I'm also the person picking up when you call.

In writing, in every contract

Four things we put on paper.

  1. Fixed price before we start

No hourly creep, no extra discovery, no number that moves once it's agreed. If we underestimated, that's ours to absorb.

  2. Every account in your name

Domain, host, Google, email. You're the owner. We're a user you can remove yourself, in one click, without calling us.

  3. No lock-in

Month to month on anything ongoing. Cancel by email with thirty days' notice. We hand over the passwords and a written runbook within five business days, and answer questions for thirty days after that, free.

  4. Plain English

If a report needs a translator, it isn't finished. That goes for Spanish too — if Spanish is easier, the whole job happens in Spanish.

The honest bit

We haven't finished a job yet.

Doelve started in 2026. You'd be one of our first clients, and we're not going to dress that up. There's no wall of logos on this page, because it would belong to somebody else's client list.

Here's the trade while it's still true: the first businesses we work with get our full attention at a founding rate, both of us on the job rather than a junior, and that rate held for two years if you stay on monthly care.

What we ask back is permission to describe the work publicly, with your name, once it's done and you're happy. And twenty minutes telling us honestly what we got wrong. If you'd rather stay anonymous, say so and you still get the rate — we'll write it up as "a fourteen-person law office in Forest Hills" instead. We'd rather have the work than the logo.
